Much effort was put into the user interface for entering rankings during an event.

Super-fast entering is possible for placings, competitor numbers and their arrival times. And make things even easier with these great tools:

  • Import arrival information (rankings) from virtually every sort of source file (read below);
  • Automatically apply group times for competitors arriving in bunches;
  • Check the integrity of the entered data;
  • Remove gaps or cut off times on whole seconds; and
  • Assign to individual competitors penalties and other corrections that will count towards the general classification.

As soon as you finish entering rankings, all the necessary classifications are generated within seconds.

Data Import

You can easily import information from virtually every sort of text-based source file. Even faster: you can choose for any of the predefined import formats from:

  • Photo finish of Dekker beating Armstrong. Maastricht, the Netherlands, Amstel Gold Race, 2001. Picture courtesy Römers Sports TimingOmega® Electronics's Scan'O'Vision;
  • Lynx System Developers's FinishLynx®;
  • Alge Timing's OPTIc; or
  • AMB's ChronX

Also you can export start lists for all of these systems, this way providing a full round-trip of information between StageRace and these leading photo finish and timing systems.

For software developers an API is available that allows for real-time interconnection of StageRace with third-party programs.

Time Trials

A special feature for time trials allows entering gross times. StageRace automatically and immediately calculates the resulting net times and ranks the competitors, based on the time trial starting list that you generated earlier.

And if you are generating such starting list, again you can have StageRace doing the work, with generating it automatically, based on previous stages. StageRace even arranges for not having two members of the same team consecutively in the starting list.

Facilities are available to accomodate team time trials.
