As of August 2014, the mp3 Browser extension (plugin) for the Joomla content management system exceeded 10,000 downloads.
The mp3 Browser is a free and open source extension for Joomla. It is available for download both from this website as well as from within the Extension Manager for administrators within Joomla.
The extension is a continuation (a fork) of an existing plugin. It has since been extended to include more elements than just a content plugin, such as a search plugin. But also its functionality has been vastly improved, and development best practices were applied.
Totaal Software is proud to serve the open source community with this small piece of code, and of the large number of downloads, and hopes that it may be of use to many web sites around the globe.
